He finished his degree in 2009 at the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts in Salamanca.

Collections: Several of his works have been acquired by private collections in Milan, Madrid, Cáceres, Plasencia, Salamanca and Zamora.

Despite the youth of the artist, the work of Alexander Jarque is marked by a mature career. Since the beginning he has researched with the use of painting space and time through architectural structures, developing concepts and evolving into breathtaking images. Over the years his work has matured and evolved significantly in concept and technique to become a very prominent artist. His latest works explore issues that concern the artist, such as the speed of this new era, the constant advance of technology and computers, all under an eclectic view. In order to transmit such ideas, he has used very different materials along with fast and determined brush strokes to represent contemporary life. According to the artist, his latest works “simulate how enriching the way of life is nowadays, the dual reality, “the interface” within a strict framework of multiple perspectives.”
